Magdeburg (dpa / sas) - A civilian video car of the police caught a driver on the B81 between Magdeburg and Halberstadt who was traveling at a permitted speed of 70 at a speed of 149.
On Wednesday afternoon, the 39-year-old overtook the police vehicle in an overtaking ban near Gröningen and raced on, as the motorway police announced to the Magdeburg police station on Thursday.
Administrative offense proceedings were initiated against the man.
He faces a fine of 1280 euros, a driving ban and four points in Flensburg.
