Leipzig (AP) - Handball Bundesliga club SC DHfK Leipzig will play their first preparation game of the new year on Thursday (5 p.m.).
The team of coach André Haber meets the second division club EHV Aue in the small arena.
The game takes place without a spectator, but the Leipzigers broadcast the game in a live stream on their Facebook page.
As the SC DHfK announced on Wednesday, the team will not have a winter training camp this year due to the corona pandemic.
"We have everything here in Leipzig to prepare perfectly, the necessary equipment and training materials and a great training hall, where we will also play three test matches," said Haber.
On January 29th there is another comparison with Aue, two days later the Leipzig team test against HC Elbflorenz Dresden.
In addition, the Haber team takes part in an international handball tournament in Dessau on Sunday.
