Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer has become a father. Neuer's wife Anika gave birth to their first child, a boy named Luca.
The little one was born on Thursday afternoon - around the same time that national coach Julian Nagelsmann announced Neuer will return to the national team after a 15-month break from the DFB. Mother and baby are doing well, they said. Manuel and Anika Neuer got married at the end of last year. The couple have a 23-year-old handball player who plays for ESV Regensburg.
