A man in his fifties, struck by a train in Cannes, between the Bocca and downtown stations, did not survive, says the Departmental Fire and Rescue Service (Sdis) of Alpes-Maritimes.

“The shocked train driver was hit by the firefighter.

Three passengers who were on board the train are unharmed ”, also specified Sdis 06.

Train traffic is disrupted at Cannes-St Raphael and Cannes-Grasse.

Traffic is particularly disrupted between Cannes and Grasse and from Cannes to Saint-Raphaël.

Buses are put into service.
