Nordhorn (dpa / lni) - Two days after the start of the first corona vaccinations in Lower Saxony, the Grafschaft Bentheim and thus the third district should also begin today.
Two mobile vaccination teams will then vaccinate residents and staff of a senior facility in Nordhorn, as a spokeswoman for the district said.
According to the Ministry of Health, the district should initially receive 1,000 doses.
On Sunday, vaccinations against Covid-19 began in two districts that were also particularly affected - Cloppenburg and Osnabrück.
The next vaccination is expected to start on Wednesday in the Nienburg district and the city of Osnabrück.
According to the ministry, Lower Saxony is initially concentrating all resources on the use of mobile vaccination teams in old people's and nursing homes.
The state government announced that from Tuesday it would be able to supply every district and every urban district with the vaccine that signals that everything is ready for vaccinations in the particularly vulnerable facilities.
