The Social Democratic Party did not agree on the party's consensus on joining the Constitutional Democratic Party, and at the party convention in November, it decided to allow the party members to leave the party while leaving the party, and Secretary-General Yoshida and President Yoshikawa Policy Council left the party. The Social Democratic Party held a standing secretary meeting on the 24th, discussed the handling of the withdrawal notification, and officially approved the withdrawal of Mr. Yoshida and Mr. Yoshikawa.



The two are expected to join the Constitutional Democratic Party by the end of the 24th.



As a result, the members of the Social Democratic Party are now two members, the leader of the Fukushima party and the member of the House of Representatives Teruya.

"I'm sorry to leave the party, but I want to create a new politics as the'New Social Democratic Party'," Fukushima said at a press conference.

Mr. Yoshida, who left the party, told NHK, "I feel lonely, but I would like to make efforts to strengthen the foundation of the Constitutional Democratic Party by making use of the policies and ideas cultivated by the Social Democratic Party."
