Al-Sadd Club won the Emir of Qatar Football Cup after beating Al-Arabi 2-1 in the final match inaugurating Al-Rayyan Stadium, the fourth World Cup 2022 stadium that is declared ready.

Algerian Baghdad Boungah scored the two goals of Al Sadd in minutes 3 and 44, while Oron Gunnarsson scored Al Arabi's only goal in the 23rd minute.

The match was attended by 20,000 fans who watched the crowning of the dam in the new version of the Emir Cup, designed by Qatari engineer Hamad Al-Marri.

Before the final match, the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, supervised the opening ceremony of Al Rayyan Stadium, which has become the fourth World Cup 2022 stadium ready.

The sky of the stadium, which will bear the name of Ahmed bin Ali, which is located in Al Rayyan, one of the oldest cities in Qatar, was lit with fireworks of colors and festive designs, amid the loud shouts and chants of thousands of football and sports fans who filled 50% of the stadium in rows organized according to the health measures that were imposed.

The ceremony, which was attended by FIFA presidents Gianni Infantino, the European Alexander Ceferin, and the Asian Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa, included several impressive performances using the latest technological technologies, as the organizers of the ceremony were keen to highlight the meanings of peace and love between different cultures and countries of the world.

The ceremony also included the military band parade, fireworks, and volunteers raising the flags of the two teams next to the flag of the State of Qatar, and they toured the stadium as part of the National Day celebrations that coincide with this match.

The celebrations were present outside the stadium and its surroundings through accompanying events, next to the Van Zone, which witnessed entertainment and promotional activities that attracted audiences from various segments of society, citizens and residents, especially children and youth.

And the accompanying events took on a family character, which is the norm in the Emir Cup final in all their tournaments and finals, and the events allowed the masses to move to the stands easily and easily.

More than 500 professional artists from Qatar and other countries participated in the ceremony, as well as teams from different communities, most notably India, Mexico, Nigeria, Kenya, Tunisia, and Egypt, who presented a series of wonderful paintings that ignited the enthusiasm of the masses.

The opening ceremony was designed to be the first stop for the excitement and fun awaiting the fourth World Cup stadiums in Qatar, as the stadiums will host seven matches during the World Cup finals and up to the eighth round, as well as the Club World Cup in February and the Arab Cup in December of the year Next.

The ceremony, which coincided with the National Day of the State of Qatar, witnessed the inauguration of the Qatar Football Association, the logo of the 2027 AFC Asian Cup hosting file.
