China Overseas Chinese Network, December 15th. According to the Russian Satellite News Agency, the works of Chinese designer Xiao Tianyu received a lot of attention recently at the art exhibition held at the Elitas Gallery in Moscow, Russia.

It is understood that the works in this exhibition are designed or collected household items, such as furniture, lamps and decorations.

"As we all know, Chinese modern art has long gone abroad and has performed well in international auction houses. Collectors all over the world are vying to buy the works of mainstream Chinese contemporary artists." Curator Christina Kraslyskaya Said, “Minimalism, skilled use of natural materials, and the perfect combination of modern craftsmanship and cultural traditions all make China’s modern art unique.”

According to Christina, there is an artist who is particularly eye-catching at this exhibition. He is Xiao Tianyu, who graduated from the Central Academy of Fine Arts in China and is now a co-designer and brand product designer of a French lighting brand with a century-old.

It is understood that Xiao Tianyu has exhibited in Russia for two consecutive years.

He pointed out that Russian art had a significant influence on him personally.

"Just like the name of my series of works "Fusion", the two cultures complement each other and are both the same and different." Xiao Tianyu said.

The exhibition at the Elitas Gallery provides a good opportunity for Russians to learn about Chinese art up close.

In addition, the participating artists in this exhibition enjoy a high reputation in Europe. Their works have been exhibited in many places such as the Pompidou Culture and Arts Center in Paris, the National Museum of Dublin, the Groningen Museum in the Netherlands, and the New York Academy of Fine Arts.
