High levels of PFAS substances have been found in both surface and groundwater in virtually the entire airport area.
The consultant reporter suggested that the municipality should take samples in about 30 individual wells, but only five were chosen.

Major investigation underway
According to the environmental manager, a major survey of the airport is planned and new sampling is expected to take place early after the turn of the year.
Depending on the results, sampling may be required in several individual wells.
