Rafa Nadal announced this Wednesday his resignation from the Indian Wells Masters 1,000. Nadal stated that he does not feel ready to compete at the highest level.
"It is with great sadness that I have to withdraw from this fantastic tournament," Nadal said in a note published by the tournament. "I've been working hard and training and you all know I did a test this weekend, but I'm not ready to play at thehighest level in such an important event," he added.
