It indicated that the inspection teams organized monitoring campaigns on the beaches of Al-Hirah, Al-Mazzar and Khor Al-Khan, to ensure that fishermen and beach goers abide by the stipulated laws, and to ensure the general cleanliness of the place, as prohibited fishing tools were monitored and confiscated, and in places where fishing is prohibited and in violation of their owners, noting that it has been carried out. Detention of persons extracting shellfish in secret and in hard-to-reach places, and they were violated to deter them and make them aware of the importance of not repeating the matter.

The authority stated that its specialized teams carry out the tasks entrusted to it to emphasize the importance and necessity of adhering to the provisions of the law regulating the practice of the hobby of recreational fishing, which came to regulate hunting in public places and reduce the random behavior of hobbyists, as well as limit the carrying out of actions, behaviors, activities or procedures that would destroy Or damage or deterioration of the natural environment, harm marine life, or compromise its aesthetic scene.

She stated that one of the conditions for obtaining a recreational fishing license is that he is a citizen of the United Arab Emirates, or has a valid residence in the Emirate of Sharjah, and that he is not less than 18 years old, and a resident in another emirate can apply for a monthly or weekly license only.
