09 December 2020 Two people, Giuseppe Controneo, aged 58, and Francesca Musolino, aged 51, husband and wife, were shot and killed while they were picking olives in Calanna, Reggino. To find the dead bodies was one of the two children of the couple.
Carabinieri intervened on the spot and are carrying out the surveys and trying to reconstruct the dynamics of the crime, coordinated by the deputy prosecutor of Reggio Calabria Gerardo Dominijanni and by the prosecutor on duty Flavia Modica.
The investigators, at the moment, on the motive of the double murder, do not exclude any hypothesis.
