Traffic accident injuries decrease in Ras Al Khaimah by 38%

The emirate of Ras Al Khaimah has achieved a remarkable decrease in the relative rate of injuries resulting from traffic accidents during the period from January 1 to September 30, 2020 compared to last year, by 38%.

The Director General of Central Operations of Ras Al Khaimah Police, Brigadier Dr. Muhammad Saeed Al Hamidi, said that the remarkable decrease in the relative rate of traffic accidents is due to the efforts made by Ras Al Khaimah Police in raising traffic awareness for drivers and road users by launching traffic campaigns and distributing awareness brochures, and working to emphasize them. Constantly adhering to traffic laws and respecting the rights of others.

He emphasized that the problem of traffic accidents and the resulting injuries are one of the most important and dangerous problems facing society, because they drain a large amount of human resources, and cause economic losses and social impacts.
