Remains of tropical hurricane Zeta pull in - stop trains in the west

There will be a real autumn rush on Monday and already on Sunday SMHI issued a warning for very strong gusts.

The warning applies to the Gothenburg area, Bohuslän and Dalsland.

SMHI has also issued a gale warning on the Skagerrak.

On Sunday, the Swedish Transport Administration decided to cancel all trains on the Uddevalla-Strömstad section throughout the entire Monday.

Only on Tuesday morning are the trains expected to be able to run normally again.

The strong winds are remnants of Hurricane Zeta that ravaged the United States, the strongest tropical hurricane that has occurred there so late in the season.
