According to reports, Russia, which currently holds the rotating presidency of the Security Council, is drafting a statement calling on the two sides to comply with the ceasefire agreement.

The draft resolution will also call on Armenia and Azerbaijan to resume negotiations facilitated by the OSCE Minsk Group.

The members of the Security Council are expected to reach an agreement this week.
