8 female individuals and 9 associations and institutions won the Outstanding Person and Team Award in the fight against the epidemic.

  Xu Ling, president of the Canadian Chinese Women’s Federation, said that on the basis of previous awards, two new awards were added this year to commend the benevolence, charity, dedication and selflessness of the team and individual women who have contributed to the fight against the epidemic.   Eight women from Canada, the United States, China and other countries, including Li Meilin, Lu Laibing, Li Qingqing, Wang Lisha, Yang Xiaoping, and Yong Chaobin, were awarded the Outstanding Individual Anti-epidemic Award. The Jiangsu Chinese Association of Canada and the Chinese Mutual Aid Association of British Columbia were awarded the Outstanding Team Award for Anti-epidemic Team.

  The organizer also awarded four awards for Outstanding Women in Vancouver, Outstanding Women in British Columbia, Outstanding Women in Canada, and Outstanding Contributions to the Community.
