A reception for Chinese and foreign women to commemorate International Women's Day was held in Beijing. Chairman of the All-China Women's Federation, Chen Yiqin, delivered a speech and extended holiday greetings.
She pointed out that since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core has comprehensively strengthened its leadership on women's work. China will work with other countries to accelerate the implementation of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action, jointly advance the global gender equality agenda.
