On the night before Saturday, two shootings occurred in Södertälje.
In Geneta, a man was injured in a shooting and in Hovsjö, a man in his 25s was shot to death later that night.
Three men were arrested by police during the night, but according to the police, two of these have been released while one person has been arrested by prosecutors.
Special event called "Antonia"
Södertälje Police now announce that the Stockholm Region has started a so-called special event called "Antonia".
An extensive investigative effort led by the section for serious crimes with the support of the Södertälje police.
On its Facebook page, the Södertälje police write that during the weekend a local operations center was set up where extensive extra resources from the county as reconnaissance personnel, intervention police and area police were deployed.
