The former deputy of Anne Hidalgo at the mayor of Paris Pierre Aidenbaum was indicted on Friday for "rape" and "sexual assault".

He is accused of sexual harassment by an employee of the Paris City Hall. 

Pierre Aidenbaum, former deputy of Anne Hidalgo at mayor of Paris, was indicted Friday for "rape" and "sexual assault" by a person in authority, AFP learned from a source close to the case, confirmed by a judicial source.

Presented to a judge after police custody, Pierre Aidenbaum, who was accused of sexual harassment by an employee of the mayor of Paris, was indicted and placed under judicial supervision on Friday, said this source.
