  Liu Simu announced the news on October 6 through social networking platforms.

  He will attend a virtual celebration held by UNICEF Canada on November 20 (World Children's Day) to communicate with young people.

  Liu Simu was born in Harbin, China, and immigrated to Canada with his parents at the age of 5 and grew up in Toronto.

After graduating from university, he worked briefly in an accounting firm and then devoted himself to film and television.

He is also an actor, screenwriter, director and producer. He has appeared in the American drama "Hurricane Rescue" and other works, and was nominated for the Canadian Screen Award.

With his performance in the popular Canadian TV series "Kim's Convenience Store" in recent years, Liu Simu has attracted the attention of the audience.
