Two of those who sought refuge in the northern part of the Ärna area are Tommy Eriksson and Anita Grundin Eriksson.

Lyrically, they tell about their love of flying.

- I have lived in Tuna slopes and grew up with this, says Anita Grundin.

Doesn't it make a lot of noise?

- It belongs, and I can not understand those who complain, she says.

The head of the Air Combat School also talks enthusiastically about the exercise with planes from Skaraborg's air flotilla.

- Fantastic fun that we have fighter jets that practice with us.

Great fun, says Robert Nylén, head of Luftstridssolan.

What does this exercise mean for those who work at Ärna?

- Large parts of our staff are involved to ensure that the aircraft can take off and land.

Then our battle command battalion is involved and leads in various exercises.

"Defend Sweden and our democrat"

Why is this type of exercise important?

- To prepare us for the task of defending Sweden and our democracy.

What reactions have you received?

- Only positive, people have appreciated that we are visible and that they can see what you get for the tax money.

Something negative?

- Nothing negative if the exercise has been feedback to me.
