A Boeing 727 cargo plane crashed at Malakal Airport in South Sudan. The airport clarified that the cause of the incident was the mistake of the pilot, who landed the plane a few meters from the runway, which led to the explosion of its tires and the capsizing of the aircraft.
One passenger was injured. Earlier, the TASS agency reported that the Krasnoyarsk-Blagoveshchensk flight made an emergency landing in Chita. Later it became known that the reason for the emergency landing of the Boeing 737-800 aircraft was the activation of the serviceability sensor of one of the engines.
