The beautiful performance of an old man in his 80s who is losing his memories struck the hearts of people around the world.

On the 21st of the local time, foreign media such as CBS in the US introduced a touching video of Paul Harvey, a dementia patient.

In the video, Paul sits at the piano and listens to his son Nick's voice.

When Nick sings 4 scales randomly, Paul stutters on the piano, and then immediately composes and plays a song that starts with the notes just struck.

Paul, 80, was an accomplished piano player and composer.

He also worked as a professor of music at the University of Sussex in England.

His son Nick, who had no choice but to watch Paul's memory loss due to dementia, remembered one day the'composition play' that his father often played when he was a child.

It was a game of randomly selecting four notes and then creating a song that starts with those notes.

Nick, who suggested ‘composing play’ with a wishful heart, shed tears as he watched his father play beautiful tunes for several minutes.

Nick released a video of his performance on social media, saying, "My father always surprised me with this fantastic composer ability. My father's dementia is getting worse, but at this moment it seems like the father I knew came back."

The performance video was viewed over 1.5 million times and received great attention. Paul, who heard the news from his son, said, "I'm too old to be excited about such a thing," but said that he was happy with a wide smile.
