It has been two years since the last election.
At that time, a total of 44 members of the Uppsala County Council's eight municipalities had left their assignments prematurely.
The cause can be relocation, illness or other personal reasons.
The largest share in the county is in Heby municipality, where every fourth council member has left.
- Everyone is a leisure politician except me.
It takes time from people's free time and affects their work, says Marie Wilén (C) who is the chairman of the municipal board.
Marie Wilén (C) understands that as a voter you can feel disappointed if "your politician" leaves.
- As a voter, you have voted for them, she says.
The party with the most dropouts is the Sweden Democrats - both in Heby municipality and in the country as a whole.
