Now one of the last heads of government of the USSR died. He was active until the end and only resigned from his position as senator in the Federation Council in October after 20 years. He led the crisis team to eliminate the consequences of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant in 1986. The politician wrote the book “My Boss Gorb Mikhail: The True Story of a Downfall,” which was also published in German in 2013.
