　　1. Scope of implementation

　　(1) Chinese and foreign passengers who take a direct flight from the United States to China must complete the new coronavirus nucleic acid test within 3 days before boarding, and apply for a green health code with the “HS” logo with a negative nucleic acid test certificate (applicable to Chinese citizens) or declaration of health status (for foreign citizens) boarding.

For example, if the departure date of your direct flight to China is October 10th, you should provide a certificate of negative nucleic acid test dated October 7-10.

　　(2) Chinese and foreign passengers travelling from the United States to China via a third country or region on a commercial flight must present a negative nucleic acid test certificate to apply for a green health code with the “HS” mark and a health status statement. Please note: starting from 0:00 on September 15th, Eastern time, Chinese and foreign passengers transiting to China via a third country or region from the United States need to provide a valid nucleic acid test negative certificate within 3 days before boarding the last flight to China.

For example, if the departure date of your last flight to China is October 10th, you should provide a certificate of negative nucleic acid test dated October 7-10.

　　(3) Chinese and foreign passengers departing from a third country and transiting directly to China via the United States must respectively present the green health code with the "HS" mark or the foreigner's health code reviewed by the Chinese embassy in the third country within the validity period. The validity period of the health code is automatically generated by the system and uniformly displayed as Beijing time.
