It is noted that the airspace control facilities of the Southern Military District of Russia detected three American bombers.

"In order to prevent the US Air Force from violating Russian airspace from the air defense forces of the Southern Military District, 4 Su-27 fighters and 4 Su-30 fighters were raised over the Black and Azov Seas," the NTSUO said.

Russian aircraft returned to their home bases after American bombers withdrew from the Russian border.

It is noted that all flights of Russian fighters were performed in strict accordance with international rules for the use of airspace.

No border violations were allowed.

Earlier, the Russian MiG-31 fighter flew to intercept the Orion patrol aircraft of the Norwegian Air Force over the Barents Sea.
