The County Administrative Board announced on Wednesday evening that a wolf attack had taken place in the county, sometime during the night between 31 August and 1 September.
Their inspection person who was on site outside Pjätteryd in Älmhult municipality has established that the attack on the sheep was carried out by a wolf.
Two sheep were killed on the spot and three more sheep were so injured that they had to be killed.
