SVT Nyheter Norrbotten has looked more closely at how many vacant flats there are at Kiruna's largest housing company - LKAB Fastigheter and Kirunabostäder.
Both have two vacant apartments at the moment. In order to rent an apartment at Kirunabostäder, a queuing time of between 3,000 and 4,000 days was required, which corresponds to eight to ten years of queuing.
