More than 17,000 people are moving out of their child-rearing generation to the suburbs of Tokyo due to soaring land prices. The largest number of people moved from Tokyo to Saitama Prefecture at 8,086 people.

People in their 30s and 40s, and their children under 14, each had an excess of transfers, with a total of 17,102 people moving out. Some people who are raising children searched for housing in Tokyo but were unable to find a property that matched their budget.
