“Decree No. 455-UG, signed on August 17 by Acting Governor Alexei Orlov, removes a number of restrictions imposed in the Middle Urals in connection with COVID-19,” reads a statement on the regional government's website.
In addition, in the Sverdlovsk Region, group excursions for up to 20 people are allowed, and the work of children and youth sports schools is being resumed.
The self-isolation regime for residents of the region over 65 years old and people with chronic diseases has been extended until August 24.
