The police cordoned off an area on Öbacka during the morning, after an injured man in his 25s sought hospital care. An 18-year-old man had stabbed the 25-year-old seven times with a knife, who as a result of the violence received wounds to the head, arm and torso. The victim was treated in hospital but had no life-threatening injuries.
Six men were arrested - five were released
Six men were arrested by prosecutors on the same day as the incident. There would have been a connection between the suspects and the victim. Five of them were then released and two of them were completely removed from suspicion of crime.
