Five communities, Extremadura, Andalusia, Castilla-La Mancha, Castilla y León and Comunidad de Madrid, maintain this Wednesday the orange warning (significant risk) for temperatures that will reach 41 degrees, reports the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) on its website .

Andalusia continues with orange warning in the provinces of Córdoba, Granada and Jaén with records of 41 degrees in the Cordovan countryside, the Genil basin, the Guadalquivir valley, Morena, Condado, Cazorla and Segura; in Huelva and Seville the yellow level persists for values ​​of 38-39 degrees in areas of the Seville and Aracena countryside.

Extremadura has also activated the orange alert for maximum temperatures that will range between 39 and 41 degrees in the fertile plains of the Guadiana, in points of the Extremaduran Siberia, Tagus, Alagón, Villuercas, Montánchez, Cacerean plateau and nearby areas.

The Community of Madrid maintains the orange level for values ​​of 38-39 degrees throughout the metropolitan area, Las Vegas, south, west and El Henares; maximum temperatures of 34 degrees are expected in thresholds below 1,000 meters of altitude.

Castilla y León continues in orange with maximums of 39 degrees in areas of the south of Ávila and Salamanca, while in the Segovian, Zamora and Valladolid plateau and in El Bierzo the records will range between 34 and 37 degrees.

Castilla-La Mancha is orange alert for high temperatures, between 37 and 40 degrees, in areas of La Mancha, the Guadiana valley, the Tagus valley, and in the mountains of Alcudia, Madrona, Sierra de San Vicente, Las Alcarria, Hellín, Almansa, Alcaráz and Segura.

In the communities of Aragon, Balearic Islands, Catalonia and Galicia the yellow warning (risk) persists for values ​​that will range between 34 degrees in the Huesca Pyrenees and 38 degrees in areas of Miño (Ourense).

The Aemet warns that with the orange alert there is a risk of unusual meteorological phenomena and with a certain degree of danger for the usual activities, and with the yellow alert there is no meteorological risk for the general population, although there is a specific activity.
