Snow and rain return Spain to the middle of winter. Alerts have been activated in communities of Andalusia, Castilla y León, Aragon, Asturias and Galicia.
Rain, snowfall, waves and strong wind hit the country after several days of flooding in the northern third. In most cases, snowfall will be recorded at 1,000 meters, although it will drop to 700-800 meters in many places, according to data from the Meteorological Agency.
