During the weekend, Missing People and a couple from Falkenberg with bloodhounds searched for the 45-year-old man who disappeared on July 11 from his cottage in Notsel outside Harads.

The dogs had to sniff at his belongings to get the right DNA and then carried it off along the forest road from Notsel and towards the main road towards Harads.

"Missing car"

- My bloodhound Sonja got up the track and became very eager. We walked six to seven kilometers on the forest road to the main road, but there the tracks ended. Although Sonja searched in an area on both sides of the main road, she did not find the track again and we conclude that the missing man drove from there in one direction or the other, says Gerd Andersson from the non-profit tracking dog group.

After that, she went with the bloodhound on the main road to Harads.

- We searched in a few different places and we found a place, but out of consideration for the relatives, I do not want to say where.

"For loose tasks"

Patrik Hellberg, acting local police area chief in Luleå and Boden, does not rule out that Gerd Andersson's conclusions are correct.

- We have both a disappearance idea and a criminal investigation that is underway, but this information is not concrete enough for us to change search area. It is too loose information, but it is one of many possible scenarios, he says.

The police will continue to collect information from the public and search part of the terrain to try to clarify what has happened to the 45-year-old man.

- From the perspective that he is away in the terrain, the condition in that case is extremely critical. If he's in the woods, then. That is what we should try to find out, says Patrik Hellberg.
