Ministers of Education are breaking rigid rules for teacher training. They want theory and practice, i.e.

the first and second phases of teacher training, to be more closely linked. In the future, it should firstly be easier to become a teacher with just one subject, secondly to complete the teacher training course dual and thirdly to start a teaching master's degree through a lateral entry. The innovations are based at least in part on recommendations from the Science Council and the Standing Scientific Commission (SWK)
