Also, walking in the open air during working hours helps the flow of ideas, where one can perform the process of brainstorming and solve mental problems better.

And when performing some simple exercises at any time, or after going to the toilet, for example, this helps to relax the body and enhance focus more.

Carpal tunnel syndrome

The German Association of Neurologists said that office workers are more likely to develop carpal tunnel syndrome, which is caused by pressure on the nerve in the wrist.

The association pointed out that the symptoms of the syndrome are tingling or numbness in the fingers, especially the thumb, forefinger and middle, and often pain appears at night.

Later, the pain can extend to the forearm, up to the shoulder area and back of the neck.

Early diagnosis of carpal tunnel syndrome helps to prevent further damage to the nerve, while pressure on the nerve can be relieved by installing a splint or by short-term treatment with cortisone.
If
the syndrome is at an advanced stage, then the patient will have to undergo surgery to avoid a shortage in the hand movement or muscular atrophy.

To avoid these troubles, you should take regular breaks and avoid improperly loading, taking into account the use of a comfortable mouse and keyboard.

Office Eye Syndrome

For its part, the German Association of Ophthalmologists said that "Office Eye Syndrome" attacked office workers in particular, because of sitting for a long time in front of a computer screen.

The association added that the office eye syndrome is caused by less eyelashes than usual, so the surface of the eye is not adequately moistened with tear fluid.

Symptoms of the syndrome are red eyes, dry eyes, burning sensation, and presence of foreign body with increased tears.

To combat office eye syndrome, rest periods should be taken regularly with eyelashes intentionally from time to time, and artificial tears can also be used to moisturize the eye.
