Two more arrested after the robbery in Boliden - suspected of theft

On Thursday, a robbery took place against a petrol station in Boliden. A man in his 30s went into the gas station and seized goods.

- A threatening situation arose when a person tried to take the goods back from the robber, says Lars-Martin Markstedt at the police in Skellefteå.

According to Markstedt, no cover should have been used in the robbery, but further interrogations with witnesses should be made to establish the matter.

The police who were quickly on the scene and when they looked through the surveillance cameras they could see that the robber was a person known to the police.

- We were able to locate him in an apartment where we did a house search and also arrested the man, Markstedt says.

But it was not just the robber who was in the apartment. Two other men, one in his 20s and the other in his 40s, were also in the apartment and the police also found a large amount of stolen goods at the robber's home.

- Both men were arrested and arrested on suspicion of theft, Markstedt says.

All three men have denied the crimes they are suspected of.

- Today we will hold further interrogations with the people and their lawyers. We will also need to try to trace the stolen goods to the reports that exist, says Markstedt and continues.
