The first deputy defense minister of Russia, Ruslan Tsalikov, said that the first Russian vaccine against the Corona virus, which was co-designed and produced by military specialists and scientists from the Gemali Research Center, is ready.

Today, Tuesday, Russia Today quoted Tsalikov as saying, in a press interview: "Military specialists and scientists have made the final assessments of the results of the new vaccine test."

He added, "All the volunteers who participated in the vaccine test are safe and have acquired immunity to the virus. With this, we can say that the first local vaccine against infection with Corona infection is ready.

The press office of the Ministry of Defense stated that the documents for the registration of the aforementioned vaccine were submitted to the Russian Ministry of Health on June 30.

The ministry announced yesterday that the clinical trials phase of the vaccine had been successfully completed.
