UK "100 laps in my home garden" Awarded the title to a 100-year-old man who raised more than 4 billion yen. July 18, 7:14

Queen Elizabeth named "Night" from a 100-year-old man in England who walked 100 laps in his home garden to raise more than 4 billion yen in donations in order to support medical professionals who treat patients with the new coronavirus. The title has been awarded.

British veteran Tom Moore celebrates his 100th birthday in April this year, using a walker to challenge 100 walks in his home garden and raise funds to help medical professionals on the Internet. And over £32m, far exceeding the target, and about ¥4.4bn in Japanese yen.

The British government has decided to honor Moore-san with the title of "Night" and held a ceremony at Windsor Castle on the outskirts of London on the 17th.

The ceremony was held outdoors to prevent viruses, and Queen Elizabeth handed the medals directly to Queen Moore.

After the ceremony, Moore said, "It was a really wonderful day. I never dreamed that the Queen would give me such compassionate words."

Congratulations to Mr Moore for being awarded the Honorary status by posting on Twitter that Prime Minister Johnson "enjoyed the whole of England in his efforts to raise a wonderful fund."
