The alarm about the shooting in Nacksta outside Sundsvall came to the police at three o'clock on the night of December 12, 2019. Accommodation in the apartments all around testified that they heard several shots. During the morning, police announced that a man had died.

Nine shots to the head and body

According to the indictment, the victim was lured out of his apartment by three men. They had two guns and shot the 28-year-old with nine shots to the head and body.

After the shooting, the three black-clad men were seen leaving the scene on foot. The police service dog managed to track the men all the way to an apartment in central Sundsvall, where they were arrested a few hours later.

Previously convicted of crime

Along the way from the crime scene to the house where the men were arrested, two guns were found, which turned out to be the weapons used in the murder. DNA from the suspects was also found on the weapons.

The three accused are aged between 26 and 28 and all three are connected to Ångermanland. All are previously convicted of, among other things, ill-treatment and drug offenses. All three refuse a crime.

The preliminary investigation includes 39 witnesses. Among other things, the victim's closest and his friends have been heard, neighbors who witnessed the shooting and police who were first in the scene.
