June 25, 2020 There are 49 cases of positive people at Covid in the outbreak that broke out in the residential complex known as Palazzi ex Cirio, in Mondragone, a town on the coast of Caserta.

Most of these are Bulgarian citizens who live in four of the five buildings that have become the red zone since Monday 22 June, after the order of the Region came into force.

Furthermore, the transfer of positive people, all asymptomatic, to the Covid Hospital of Maddaloni, where nineteen are currently hospitalized, are continuing, albeit slowly. yesterday six infected were transferred, thirteen more are missing, to which are added the new positives.

Some of the positives, however, cannot be traced; many tenants, especially among foreigners, are not registered, and it is assumed that they did lose track, for fear of losing their job.

Many are laborers and work in the fields where they are exploited by Bulgarian nationals. Corporals who live in the former Cirio Palaces.

A group of Bulgarians residing in the Ex Cirio buildings in Mondragone (Caserta) protested by leaving the red zone established in the area. There have been moments of tension, but the police who guard the gates have managed to bring foreigners back inside.
