After seven months traveling the streets of Paris for Frichti, Mamadou Djaïdja, a Senegalese undocumented delivery man, has no income. The application to connect the Frichti platform, its customers and its deliverers is now prohibited.

We felt a sort of abandonment," he says to Alexis Bedu , of the France service of RFI. Imagine the people who work with you: you know very well that they are not in good standing, but you have agreed to employ them to work for you. These people who worked during confinement, who risked their lives ... I can say that Frichti exploited us first. Since they don't need us now, they decided to fire us !  "

Frichti "not aware" of having used undocumented migrants

Today, these undocumented delivery men not only want to find their work but also that the company recognizes them as employees.

Youssouf Koné is Ivorian. Despite his self-employed status, he has always considered Frichti as his employer. They are the ones who manage to impose their law," he laments. Everything they say, we have to accept because we are undocumented. When Frichti sent me the email, sincerely, I was downed, because I cannot understand that I made a year and six months with Frichti and that today, I am told -without giving me justification - to stop work.  "

Frichti explains that he was not aware of using undocumented providers. The company ensures that case-by-case support in their administrative procedures will be provided. But she refuses to give the number of people concerned.
