This Saturday during a commemoration ceremony of the Landing at Sainte-Mère-Eglise (Manche), a drone was the target of a gunshot. However, the pilot claims to have complied with all safety rules. He had also been mandated by the municipality to make a video on the subject of the Liberation, reports  Ouest-France .

A complaint filed

"Someone shot at it while I was filming the ceremony," said Sylvain Corbin, of Manche Drones Production, to the regional daily. He did not fall, but partly lost his navigation system. "

The pilot decided to file a complaint because his aircraft is out of order. He had to order a new one to be able to continue his professional activity and hopes to be reimbursed. According to him, professionals in this sector of activity are increasingly faced with difficulties "while we respect the rules of flight".
