The toll could have been much heavier, but luck and probably the rapid intervention of the emergency services made it possible to avoid the worst. Saturday evening, shortly before midnight, on the departmental RD 1083, in the direction Strasbourg-Colmar to Sélestat (Bas-Rhin), a vehicle went off the road.

According to the Departmental Fire and Rescue Service of Bas-Rhin (SDIS 67), the car would have rolled over several times before coming to a stop below the road. According to DNA , the vehicle ripped off an electric pole and ended up running on the roof, in a field. On board, three passengers: a 16-year-old girl, an 18-year-old woman and a 21-year-old boy.

Fortunately, they were only slightly injured. Significant aid was immediately dispatched to the scene. The teenager was evacuated to the hospital in Sélestat, the young adult in Colmar and the young man at the Hautepierre University Hospital.
