On Sunday morning, members of the Egyptian community demonstrated in Qatar in front of their country's embassy in Doha, calling for the Egyptian government to intervene to take them back to the homeland.
Social media has shared photos and videos of these protesters who have been stuck in Qatar and the Corona Virus crisis caused some of them to stop working.
The protesters raised slogans and banners denouncing what they considered neglect of the Egyptian government for its citizens in the State of Qatar. They demanded that they be returned in the same way that the government itself did with Egyptians residing in other countries.
