It was just before one o'clock on Saturday that a police patrol reported that they had witnessed a traffic accident on the E4 exit at Gumsbacken in Nyköping. According to the patrol, the motorist had driven at high speed, driven off the road and completed several times in a field.
Police say the 25-year-old who was traveling in the car appeared to be seriously injured when he was taken to hospital by ambulance.
The police have written a report to investigate the cause of the accident.
