The Government does not renew the educational concert for the eleven Catalan schools that segregate by sex , as published in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat (DOGC), because "they do not comply with the principle of co-education through mixed schooling, which must be the object of preferential attention ".
The educational centers of Catalonia that are excluded from the educational concert, the majority belonging to conservative religious institutions, are the Canigó, Bell-lloc del Pla, Les Alzines, Pineda, Xaloc, Institució Lleida, Esc. Fam. Agr. Campjoliu, Institució Tarragona, La Vall, La Farga and Viaró , according to the Education resolution published in the DOGC.
The resolution that leaves these centers out of the concerts provisionally approves the renovations of the educational concerts in Catalonia for primary education, the modifications of the concerts for second cycle infant education and compulsory secondary education, and the extension of the Educational concerts of primary education of the centers for the next academic year 2020-2021.
