He pointed out that the police worked with the Sharjah Municipality within the national sterilization program, and intensified its patrols in the industrial areas, to ensure the employment of precautionary measures, as well as the spread of awareness messages since the beginning of the pandemic.

The Director General of Sharjah Municipality, Thabet Salem Al-Tarifi, said that the sterilization hours reached 330 thousand hours during the last period, and the sterilization program is still ongoing.

Fahad Al-Khumairi, Director of the Registration and Licensing Department at the Department of Economic Development in Sharjah, stated that since the beginning of the Corona crisis, the department has closed 13 facilities that do not adhere to the precautionary standards and requirements to limit the spread of the virus.
