Every week, the county administrative boards of Sweden report to the government on the state of the various social sectors in the country.

It now shows that the situation regarding protective equipment has improved in several municipalities and regions. This was after, among other things, new equipment was obtained through the National Board of Health and Welfare.

At the same time, there is still a big problem with both staff shortages and material shortages in the municipal elderly care - where the infection also continues to spread.

Concern about safety stops

The municipalities also report a concern for new so-called safeguard stops - that is, the safety representative should stop work on, for example, a senior citizen's home due to the lack of protective equipment, as in the disputed case with the senior citizen Serafen in Stockholm.

It is now also clear that there is no longer a county without coronas infection in the elderly. Recently, it was confirmed that an accommodation was hit on Gotland, which has hitherto been excluded from Swedish counties.
